Panama City’s Tocumen International Airport
is a perfect symbol of the country of Panama. Small, unassuming
and eerily similar to something in an Indiana Jones movie, this
international airport holds the secret of air travel in Panama.
From your first steps in this airport, you are going to find the
unexpected. It’s difficult to imagine an airport where there
is regular service to and from both the US and Europe being so subdued.
In addition, it is likely to find entire areas of the airport blocked
off as repairs and renovations are performed. The airport is being improved and enlarged.
