British Airways may soon begin direct flights from London to Panama. Currently British Citizens need to pass through Spain to get to Panama. The easier access by British Airways could increase British tourism in Panama and then replicate the North American experience with tourists turning into second home owners and resident retirees. Panama real estate investment looks like an ongoing good idea as a new flood of home buyers and investors appears on the horizon.

The online British real estate site Homes Overseas notes the possibility of direct British Airways flights from Heathrow to Panama in the near future. The magazine speculates that easier access to Panama by British Airways would promote British tourism in Panama and perhaps home sales too. Currently without direct flights British citizens need to connect to Avianca in Spain, KLM in Holland or American and Continental through New York to get to Panama.
