Amador Real Estate, Pacific Paradise and a First World City

Where and What is Amador Real Estate?
Amador real estate is outside of Panama City in the county of Panama on the land bridge between North and South America. When the Americans dug the Culebra Cut during the construction of the Panama Canal they had to put all that rock somewhere. They connected Naos, Perico, and Flamenco islands in what was the Panama Canal Zone.
Today the causeway boasts paved walkways, great restaurants, a constant sea breeze and a gorgeous view of the Panama City skyline across the bay at night. Amador real estate is located on all three islands with projects under development.

These are boom times in Panama. Panama City real estate has become increasing attractive for the last ten years as increasing numbers of Americans have come to Panama to retire, attracted by the tropical climate, inexpensive property, and attractive residency requirements. In the same ten years Panama has had control of the Panama Canal for the first time. Foreign investment is high and Panama is pouring money into improvements of its infrastructure. For example, the Panama Canal Authority has started a ten year ten Billion dollar project to build a second, wider set of locks for the Panama Canal. Panama City real estate projects include many high rises on the Pacific and throughout the city.

The Amador Causeway is part of the old canal zone and owned by the Panama government since 1997. There were 233,000 acres of potential commercial and residential real estate and over 7,000 building available throughout the canal zone. Many of the buildings and much real estate have been purchased. Amador real estate is available through several projects underway.

A project underway is on land leased for 60 years, with options, from the government with asking prices starting at $250,000. This is an extensive marina, hotel, casino project.
