Though the Duke is gone, Taborcillo Island and Punta Chame still have a starring role, forming the next hot Panamanian towns for investment.

Punta Chame is a peninsula that is made up of about 22 miles of white sand beaches, and the beaches here have pristine, white sand especially on the south side. This area, however, is fast becoming a Panama real estate hotspot for weekend visitors from Panama City and retirement homes. Investment property on the peninsula will continue to increase in value as more people begin to make the journey to this Panama location.
